Successful Completion of 2025 Fall Semester Orientation and Welcome Party for International Degree-seeking Students
The Office of International Student Services (Vice President: Prof. Minhyo Cho) successfully hosted the 2025 Fall Semester Orientation and Welcome Party for newly admitted international degree-seeking students on Thursday, August 14.
The orientation, held at the International Hall and simultaneously live-streamed online, welcomed more than 600 new undergraduate and graduate international students. The program covered essential topics such as campus life, immigration regulations, academic policies, and financial literacy.
Following the orientation, a Welcome Party was held at the Faculty Dining Hall in the 600th Anniversary Building to celebrate the arrival of new students and foster community building.
During the event, students engaged in team activities and networked with peers as well as Freshmen Advisors, who are senior students assigned to support new entrants.
In her welcome address, Prof. Minhyo Cho, Vice President of the Office of International Affairs, remarked: “We warmly welcome you to Sungkyunkwan University. The Office of International Affairs will continue to provide full support to ensure your successful university life.”
