SKKU’s Robotics Innovatory (Prof. Hyouk Ryeol CHOI) and UCLA’s Robotics & Mechanisms Laboratory (RoMeLa) (Prof. Dennis HONG) will hold SKKU-UCLA Robot Opening Day as a part of their joint research project, on November 15th (Wed) at 14:00PM at SKKU Natural Sciences Campus.
SKKU-UCLA Robot Opening Day was initiated for people in Gyeonggi-do to develop their understanding of robot technology. At the event, various types of robots such as walking robot, snake-like robot, and drones will be introduced.
A Special lecture will be given by Prof. Dennis HONG, who is a leading scholar in the field of robotics. He is a professor of UCLA and a speaker for TED Talks. Prof. HONG will deliver a lecture with the subject ‘Every Robot Falls Over’. He will share interesting stories about walking robot technology and introduce robots developed at RoMeLa.
