Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Association in Vietnam Holds “2025 Year-End Dinner"

The Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Association in Vietnam of Sungkyunkwan University (President: Kyungsoo Kim, Chinese Language and Literature ’85) held the “2025 Year-End Dinner” on Tuesday, December 16.
Representing Sungkyunkwan University at the dinner were President Jibeom Yoo, Dean of the College of Pharmacy Hyungsik Kim, Vice President of the International Affairs Minhyo Cho, Head of Research & Business Foundation Jachoon Koo, Chief of Staff Hyungil Kim, and Director Yoonseok Cho of the Development and Alumni Relations Division. The Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Association was represented by President Kyungsoo Kim, Senior Vice President Junho Kim (German Language and Literature ’88), and 15 local alumni.
In his welcoming remarks, President Kyungsoo Kim stated, “It is a great honor to welcome the President of our university at year’s end to the Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Association, a small but strong organization with deep bond among its members,” adding, “We will continue to do our utmost to contribute to the development and enhanced reputation of our alma mater.”
President Jibeom Yoo expressed his appreciation, saying, “I was deeply impressed by the rapid development of Vietnam,” and added, “I hope that the Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Association, which boasts strong bonds and unity, will continue to play a significant role for SKKU and the local community.”
The year-end dinner concluded as a meaningful occasion that further strengthened exchanges between Sungkyunkwan University and its overseas alumni and reaffirmed a shared commitment to enhancing the global network.
