BK21 Fintech Education-Research Group Hosts the 2025 Global AI Finance Research Conference

The BK21 Global Fintech Talent Development Education-Research Group (Director: Professor Song Kyo Jik) will co-host the “2025 Global AI Finance Research Conference” in Hong Kong on December 14–15, together with The University of Hong Kong, the Asian Institute of Digital Finance at the National University of Singapore, and the Financial Information Society of Korea.
Since its establishment in 2020, this conference has become an international venue where leading global scholars in fintech and finance present and discuss cutting-edge research. Since 2021, papers have been submitted from more than ten countries annually, and the acceptance rate for the papers selected for presentation at the 2025 Hong Kong conference stands at 30% following a rigorous review process. Notably, Professor Jun Pan (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), invited as this year’s keynote speaker, serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Review of Finance and as an editorial board member of the Journal of Finance, and will deliver a lecture on the theme “Pricing the Global Trade Vulnerability.”
Seven graduate students participating in the Group’s master’s program also plan to present their research during the Poster Session at the Hong Kong conference. The SKKU BK21 Global Fintech Talent Development Education-Research Group will continue to provide strong support to ensure that students gain valuable experience in international academic exchange.
