SKKU is selected as an operating university for the K-STAR Visa Track, which is organized by the Ministry of Justice. The K-STAR Visa Track (Korea-Science & Technology Advanced Human-Resources Visa Track) is a settlement support system for high-quality talent that induces stable settlement of excellent science and engineering international students in Korea, and is selected based on university recommendations.
Minhyo Cho, the Vice President of the Office of International Affairs, attended the K-STAR Visa Track plaque-awarding ceremony and a related discussion session held at the Government Complex Gwacheon on December 5. During the meeting, they discussed future implementation plans and strategies for attracting high-level talent.
With this selection as a K-STAR Visa Track operating institution, SKKU has further strengthened its foundation for attracting excellent global talent and has established a full-cycle support system that encompasses international students’ journey from admission to stable settlement in Korea after graduation.
Going forward, SKKU will continue to expand its support system for the stable growth of outstanding international talent. Based on this foundation, SKKU will strengthen cooperation with domestic industries and research institutions and further elevate the status as a global research-oriented university.
